Bedtime at the Schoebs:
mommy sits at the computer listening to Evy in the bathtub comfort her polly pocket as she is afraid of the water, then the dark, then a monster, then something else (funny, that's alot like Evy these days!)
As mommy gets evy out of the bath, Evy says she needs help because her legs are bending. (That means they're sore, and it's no wonder at the two park tour/neighborhood walk (run) we embarked on today!)
Dry off, jammies, snack, teeth, story, devotions--and just as mommy is tucking her little piece of heaven under her ballerina covers the sweetie asks for a song.
"Mommy, the one about the aminals and the breaking glass."
can anyone guess what song she was asking for? :o)

i have wracked and wracked my brain.... the only conclusion i can come to is the mockingbirdsong???
i had to laugh. when genny asks me to sing to her it is always that donkey song or "rock with you" by micheal jackson. hmmmm.......
My song guess would have to be "Hush Little Baby" but with Evy anything is possible. It sounds like life is regaining some semblance of normalcy over there at the Schoeb's. I bet everyone is feeling good about that!
Ask her preschool teacher...or is she finished? What a sweet story! Bathtime is history in my house. As soon as they realized that they could get in and out with a shower....that was all they wanted.
