Six Weeks

The room is inky and still. The curtains are drawn. The wind hurries by behind the panes. A comforting quiet envelopes Mother and Child.
Back and forth the rocker glides. Small and safe her son rests in her arms. He nurses there in coplete and utter trust. She breathes in his sweet scent, touches his downy head, and caresses his velvet cheek.
He sighs quietly as he finds contentment, his hand resting on her chest. Her eyes close as serenity and happiness sweep gently over her frame.
It doesn't matter that the clock is folding its hands from three AM to four. There is no where else to be.

Aint it the truth. These are the moments that one just has to purposely drill into your brain, because they go so fast and it lasts only for a short time. So memorize every last feeling and every sigh so you can remember him like this forever!!

Wow - what a beautiful moment of peace you have just given to me; everything from the great pictures to the wonder of a 3am feeding. Thank you and keep up the great work momma!
