Many of you have already heard of the passing of my Grandma Alice. She went to be with Jesus Friday at 7:23 am while I Libby and I sat beside her holding her hand. It was a peaceful parting, and I am thankful for God's mercy and grace as He so gently took her hand and lead her into paradise. Through our sorrow we can't help but remember how much she longed for her journey on earth to be over and we take great comfort in knowing she is right where she wants to be, with her daughter, and her savior. Even through my tears I'm so pleased for her as she steps onto her new road.
And as she steps onto her road, so I step onto my new road....a yellow brick road at that!
Jacki and I
recently auditioned for the Howell Community Theatre presentation of The Wizard of Oz. And drama friends let me tell you, I've never had such a
rigorous audition process in all my years! And I never dreamed so much talent would reside in sleepy little Howell.
I look forward to pouring myself into a little make-believe over the next few months, and invite you all to come and see the show in November.
To Oz???
