Some of you know my sister and her new husband took there honeymoon at DisneyWorld. They had a wonderful time, and they sent us postcards, and couple of little things from their trip. Evy, as always, made the gifts especially memorable.
When we got the postcard, I showed Evy how it had princesses on it.
"But not girls, these are REAL Grown up princesses!" she exclaimed and carried around the postcard for a while. I explained that Auntie Libby and Uncle Zac were visiting them and that's where they got the picture.
"but mommy, they live in a far away land."
"I know, honey, but that's where Libby and Zac are. In the far away land called DisneyWorld." Her eyes were the size of saucers. "Would you like to go there someday?"
"yeeesss." She whispered in awe.
Then a few days later a little package came from the honeymooners with a little princess wallet and a neclace with Cinderella perched atop a little jingle bell. Evy saw them and was intranced.
"These are from the far away land. Do you think the princesses gave them to Auntie Libby to give to me?"
"I'm sure of it."
So, anyone in for a trip to the faraway land? Because we're totally going to have to go now. :o)

oh i know!!! we had planned on going there but lost our reservations in the great Condo catastrophe of 05'. we were definatly dissapointed.... (i think me most of all.....) send us some magic when you go :)
You know the Gambee's are ALWAYS up for a trip to a far away land!!!
Just this morning in the car, Elliott and I chatted about how we were going to "work" dad on this very idea...
Sounds like the Clegg's have inspired an invasion of the Land Far Far Away! Count us in, we just can't get enough either!
