Open scene in the Schoeberlien Kitchen. Evy is sitting at the island for lunch while Mom and Auntie are making sandwiches.
Evy: Mom, tell me about aliens.
Mom: (a bit taken aback) um... What?
Evy: Tell me about what aliens do to people.
Mom: (Thinking about where Evy could've learned about aliens, she decides to go the ET route.) Well, aliens are just pretend, honey.
Evy: But what do they do to humans?
Mom: I guess they like to make friends with them.
Evy: no they don't. They suck people's brains out so they can't think.
(Auntie tries to keep juice from going up her nose and stifles a laugh)
(Mom's mouth gapes open while she tries to understand what just came out of her daughter's mouth.)
Mom and Auntie: What?
Evy: Aliens suck people's brains out so they can't think.
Mom: No they don't.
Evy: Yes they do. I know. Luke and Grace told me, and they said they know more than me.
Kids. :o)

Elliott has always been very impressionable with his friends, which can be a little nerve-wracking...though I have a feeling Noah will be the one making the impressions in the future (just as terrifying!)
